How to Make a T-Shirt Necklace

Here's a good excuse for spring cleaning - recycled t-shirt crafts! Learn how to make a t-shirt necklace from Candace Jedrowicz that can be worn on any occasion. You only need glue and scissors for this project. Add embellishments to make your necklace stand out.

Cut five strips from the bottom hem of a plain old t-shirt. Stretch easy strip until the fabric begins to curl. Add beads and other embellishments to the curled strips - the more unique the charms, the better! Glue the ends of the strips together to form a circle. Wrap a sixth strip of fabric around the necklace to cover your glue spots. This a quick and easy way to refashion old tops that you can't bear to part with!
