Cinnamon Salt Dough Ornaments
"Many years ago, I made cinnamon salt dough ornaments with my daughter. She was so young; she barely remembers it. However, every year when we take them out of the Holiday decorations, we are greeted by that cinnamon smell. Make a Salt dough recipe. Cut out the dough into shapes using cookie cutters. Make a hole for adding a string, twine, wire, or ribbon for easy hanging. Bake at 250 degrees F. for 2 1/2 hours. The nice thing about this salt sough recipe is that as soon as it is done drying in the oven, the decoration can begin. Use decorating paint, or a ribbon to hang this homemade ornament right away. "
