This Dollar Store Tablecloth is a great way to make something easy and pretty for cheap. Terri O. demonstrates how to make cute cheap tablecloths for any occasion. And the best thing about tablecloths like this one is that if you mess up, it only cost you a couple dollars in the first place!

I would have never thought of doing this. When planning a party you are so involved in getting things ready you could overlook something as simple as this to give your function that extra pop. The idea is priceless but the option to use this could garnish a lot of compliments from your friends and family.

So the concept here is to take something that is really inexpensive and make it look like a million bucks. My kind of project. I would probably rely on a stencil because I am not very good at eye-balling. I will keep this in mind for all the summer picnics that are sure to come up.

Your table cloth was blowing up, I put lead fishing weights attached with a safety pin to the edge of the table cloth to hold it down. When you are done with the table cloth take them off and wash it (if it is cloth) or just toss it in trash but remember to remove your weights so you will have them for next time. Welcome Summer, Annette

I love this idea! I really try to save money where ever I can. So to get a plain tablecloth from the dollar store and turn it from something not so special into not only a one of a kind table dressing, but also into one that matches exactly what I want for my party, and all for just pennies, what a party tip this is.

This is great! We run a camp and often have special events where this would save on the budget. Thanks for the idea

What a wonderful and easy decorating idea.

This is such an easy but unique way to brighten up a cookout or picnic. The possibilities are endless. It is like Terri said, can be improvised for a special theme such as Halloween--black and orange! I love it! Thank you Terri!
