Don't toss that Sunday paper!  Gather up yesterdays news and create this stylish Newspaper Planter.  Not only do recycled newspaper projects help the environment, they're fun and easy to make, give, or keep for yourself!

Newspaper Planter

Materials:

  • Hot glue gun
  • Clear acrylic sealer
  • A container (I used one that was for breadcrumbs)
  • 1 spool of Newspaper yarn

Instructions:

  1. Take the container and turn it upside down and glue the newspaper around and around until you reach the top lip of container.

  2. Work in small section so the glue doesn’t dry too quickly on you. Try to glue each wrap as close as you can to the row before as to not leave gaps. Feel free to embellish as well with beads and tassels and funky odds and ends!
