Pretty in Pearls Necklace

Everyone will love this beautiful three strand pearl necklace from Katie Hacker.

Materials:

  • Three 17" lengths of .015 diameter bright Beadalon® 49
  • Silver lobster clasp and tag
  • Two 1.5mm silver crimp tubes
  • Forty-six 1.3mm silver crimp beads
  • Sixteen 5mm pink freshwater pearls
  • Seven 5mm pink glass bicone beads
  • Nipper Tool
  • Designer Crimper

Steps:

  1. Hold the Beadalon® 49 strands together and string a crimp tube 1/2" from the end. String the Beadalon® 49 through half of the clasp and back into the crimp tube to form a loop. Use crimping pliers to crimp the crimp tube.
     
  2. On one strand, leave 3/4", then string a crimp bead. Crimp it. String a pearl and another crimp bead. Crimp it. String seven more pearl and crimp bead sections, leaving 1 1/2" between each section. On another strand, leave 1 3/4", then string a pearl and crimp bead section. String seven more pearl and crimp bead sections, leaving 1 1/2" between each section.
     
  3. On the last strand, leave 1", then string a crimp bead. Crimp it. String a bicone and another crimp bead. Crimp it. String six more bicone and crimp bead sections, leaving 1 3/4" between each section.
     
  4. Hold the Beadalon® 49 strands together. String a crimp tube 1/2" from the end. String the Beadalon® 49 through half of the clasp and back into the crimp tube to form a loop. Use crimping pliers to crimp the crimp tube.

Tip: Freshwater pearls are available in several different colors. Choose the color that will match your outfit, then purchase matching bicone beads.
