    Iron on Snow Postcard

    Materials:

    • Snowflake fabric, blue coordinating fabric, White backer fabric
    • Kreinik 1/8" Iron-on Ribbon 6020 Silver, 6450 Royal Blue
    • Kreinik #16 Iron-on Braid 6450 Royal Blue
    • Kreinik #8 Iron-on Braid 6020 Silver
    • 4x6 Treasure Tape Sheets
    • Teflon Press Cloth
    • Household iron or mini iron
    • Scissors

    Instructions:

    1. Use one Treasure Tape sheet as your postcard base. Using that shape as a guide, cut a piece of Snowflake and White fabric as front and back pieces. Cut a white strip and star from your white fabric. Cut a square of coordinating blue fabric.

    2. Peel the white liner off the tape. Place your snowflake piece on the tape right side up, smoothing with your fingers to adhere. Then peel off the red liner and attach your backing fabric. When your entire piece of tape is covered, trim any edges or stray threads. Use more tape to adhere your other fabric pieces. Press both sides with your iron.

    3. Use the Royal Blue Iron-on Ribbon to cover the seams between fabric pieces and create edging for your postcard. Then embellish your design with the Braid, adding curls and loops or zig-zags and stripes.
