    Easter Rabbit Windsock Craft for Kids

    Try this simple and fun Easter craft project for kids.

    Materials:

    • 2 liter bottle (with top and bottom cut off)
    • String
    • Pastel and white construction paper
    • Markers, paints or crayons
    • Tissue paper
    • Stapler

    Steps:

    1. Wrap a piece of white construction paper around the cylindrical bottle.
       
    2. Decorate to create a rabbit face using crayons, paint, markers or construction paper cut-outs.
       
    3. Cut a pair of ears out of construction paper. Decorate them and attach to the top of the bottle with the stapler.
       
    4. Cut out long strands of colored tissue paper and staple them to the bottom of the bottle like on a windsock.
       
    5. Staple string to the top of the windsock so it can be hung.

    Kids love to see pictures of what they are making. It guides them. It is useful for younger children (and parents) also.

    I think we'll try these but we will leave out the pop bottle and just use the paper in a cylinder shape after the kiddos have decorated it... I'll post pics when we are done. looks fun!

    A photo or even a diagram would be nice . . .
