Say Thanks to your business associatesA simple thank you can go a long way in helping your business grow and prosper. Take a few minutes to thank the people helping you become a success.

Hopefully your winter holiday season was profitable and you are finally able to rest up a little as we near the end of 2010. I like to take some time this time of year to reflect on my business year. It’s also a time when I send out thank you letters to my best customers and clients. I prefer to send a hand-written note of thanks, but it is okay to send out the note by e-mail too. The idea is that you take the time to recognize loyalty, good service, great opportunities provided to you, and quality networking.

Gratitude should be sent to all your circle of business associates including suppliers, retail accounts, wholesale account, editors, publishers, and anyone you interact with on a regular basis. The thank you note helps in many ways. It increases name recognition, it lets the person know their time and efforts are appreciated, and it is a reminder that you’ve got a lot to be thankful for each business year.

Meanwhile, I’d like to take the time to thank you, the readers of my Craft Business articles! I appreciate those who have signed up to receive the free weekly Creative Income eNewsletter and take the time to read it each week. You are a wonderful gift in my creative life and I do appreciate you!
