Fabric Scrap Flower Bouquet
"One of my resolutions for 2026 was to be more intentional, shifting my focus from all the commercial and worldly distractions around me to the small things that truly matter. I know that sounds like a Hallmark card, but that’s just me. I like challenging myself with personal growth goals, and sometimes I even meet them. A few weeks ago, I gifted my DIL Lilly with an adorable yarn bouquet I made with balls of yarn salvaged from my craft studio (she’s an avid knitter). It felt so meaningful to both of us. Now it’s my DIL Mel’s birthday, so I wanted to make her a handmade bouquet as well. She’s recently taught herself to sew, so I thought gifting her some of my many fabric remnants would be fitting. My idea? Accompany them with a birthday bouquet of fabric scrap flowers. I loved making them and I also adore the outcome. "
