Materials List
- White paper bags
- Red, white, and blue washi tape
- Red cardstock cut into a circle
- Silver metallic pipe cleaners
- Star stickers
- Scissors
- Candy
- Adhesive
Instructions
-
Cut off the bottom of the bag and down the sides so you wind up with about a 9x9" square.
-
Tape the long ends of the bag together to form the rocket so there are openings at both ends.
-
Using alternating colors, add strips of washi tape around the bag until you've covered the entire bag.
-
Next, add the star stickers all over.
-
Tightly twist one end of the bag, then wrap tape around the end to secure it.
-
Fill the bag with treats, then tightly twist the other end and tape it to secure as well.
-
To make the rocket topper, cut halfway into the red paper circle until the point of your scissors reaches the center of the circle. Use the center as a point, and overlap the edges of the circle to make a cone. Hot glue it to one of the closed ends of your rocket.
-
Add silver pipe cleaners to the other twisted ends of your bag and you're done!
