Materials List

  • Balloon Buddy
  • Assortment of balloons
  • Packing tape
  • Hot glue gun (Use a low temperature glue gun to glue small balloon clusters to your arch. Low temperature glue guns can usually be found at the dollar store.)

Instructions

  1. Blow up and tie a lot of balloons. Make them all different sizes.

  2. Sew balloons together using a plastic needle and fishing line to make clusters.

  3. Begin clustering together with packing tape and/or glue.

  4. Continue to adhere balloons together until you create desired shape and structure.

Tips and Tricks:

  1. Balloons are heartier than you may think! I was afraid of popping them, but they are actually quite strong.

  2. You NEED an electric balloon pump. Don’t try and blow the balloons up on your own.

  3. I started out with a structure. A wire. There is a lot of info on Pinterest about making your own frame with PVC piping.
