Recycling Old Bulbs

Instead of throwing away those old burnt out Christmas bulbs, recycle them by creating some pretty cute ornaments. All you need are some burnt out colored bulbs, thin ribbon, and wire hooks used to hang ornaments on the Christmas tree.

  1. Choose your bulb and your ribbon or wire.
  2.  If you chose ribbon, wrap the ribbon around the metal part of the bulb, making a loop so that you can hand on the tree. You can also hang these on garland that hangs from the mantle.
  3.  If you chose the wire, simply wrap the wire around and twist, leave enough wire to make a hook to hang from the tree.
These bulbs can be spruced up with glitter glue and stickers, this craft is great to do with children of all ages.
