Looking for a mission project for the year? Try this chemo hat crochet pattern for kids and adults on for size, and consider donating your finished product to your local cancer center.

Easy Crochet Chemo Cap Pattern

The Easy Crochet Chemo Cap Pattern (and other hat patterns, in general) is fun to make any time of year. It makes a great gift for loved ones going through a difficult time and can also be donated to your local cancer center if they're accepting handmade donations. Hat patterns crochet up quick, too, if you're looking for something mindless to keep your hands busy. This pattern was created specifically for a Breast Cancer Awareness, but don't let the color or original intent deter you. This free chemo hat pattern works for any and everyone.

Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Stripes gives a wonderful self-striping effect that adds a bit of variety for even your simplest of crochet projects. So, not only is this chemo hat practical, it's also so easy to personalize with buttons, flower appliques, differently colored self-striping yarn and more! Just remember to use cotton yarn or other soft, non-irritatating yarn if you're using this crochet hat pattern with people currently going through treatment in mind as chemotherapy can cause some to develop very sensitive skin. We want both style and comfort for our friends.
