[This is the start of a series from When Creativity Knocks, a great online craft show we are excited to feature. Check back every Wednesday for information on the next video episode and great craft projects selected by Ana Araujo.]
Now that Labor Day is over and schools are in session, moms will be going though a lot more loaves of bread to make the all American Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches! My Mom had to cut off the crust and no jelly for me. On the other hand, my brother Tom had PBJ. Heaven forbid she mixed up my brother and my sandwiches! We would hunt each other down on the playground to make the exchange! So, long story short start collecting those plastic tabs from the bread bags. Heidi Brochers has come up with a great idea on making a necklace with them. Check out her project under Green Crafting on the FaveCraft website!
Before your summer is a mere blur in your mind, grab those shampoo bottles from the hotel that you packed in your suitcase, empty and rinse them out. Gather up the sand from the kids toys and any small shells you have collected. Sit back and watch what clever idea that Cindi Bisson has come up with: Vacation Beach Treasures.
When Creativity Knocks taped this episode at Maker Faire 2009 in front of our 1964 Airstream Trailer “WCK’s Craft Studio OnWheels”. It was a fun weekend and we met a lot of great people! This is one of seven episodes we taped that day!
Please note that this show will air on Friday, September 9, 2009.
