Top 5 Crafts of March

April 13, 2011 by FaveCrafts

The crafters have spoken! Out of all of the craft projects we brought you last month (which just so happens to have been National Craft Month!), these are the 5 most popular projects, the crafts you liked the best from our newsletters. Without further ado…

5. Butterfly Garden Stake

We showed you this fun garden craft in our Spring has Sprung issue on 3/24, and you loved it! We included it in our Weekend Wrap-Up issue on 3/26, and you loved it again. This pretty garden ornament is the perfect way to say hello to spring! By the way, have you seen our Bee Garden Stake?

4. Mini Spring Bonnets

Boy, do you guys love mini projects! These bonnets are a winning trifecta: they’re miniature, made of recycled materials, and totally cute decor for a spring party! We first featured these in our Spring Wreaths issue way back on 3/10. Since you liked them then, we included them in our immensely popular Itty Bitty Mini Projects issue on 3/18, and then again in the Weekend Wrap-Up on 3/19. By the way, have you seen our Mini Leprechaun Hats?

3. 5 Fantastic Yarn Crafts

This article was a big hit in our Craft Leftovers issue on 3/6 and again in our Weekend Wrap-Up issue on 3/19. If you love yarn but don’t know how to knit or crochet, this article is for you! By the way, have you seen our Fun Pom Pom Crafts?

2. Mini Cupcake Easter Basket

I told you mini projects were popular! I love this little Easter basket that uses a cute cupcake liner, and you guys liked it too! This project was also featured in our Itty Bitty Mini Projects issue and again in a Weekend Wrap-Up. By the way, have you seen our 14 Easter Basket Ideas?

Drum roll please…

1. Recycled Paper Bag Bracelets

Beads are so expensive! This project shows you how to make your own from materials you already have around the house–paper bags! I gave you this project in our Hard to Find Crafts issue on 3/1, and again in a Weekend Wrap-Up on 3/12. You guys just can’t get enough of recycled jewelry! By the way, have you seen our Brown Paper Bag Beads and Pendant?

If you’re sad that you missed the rest of our top projects and our wildly popular newsletters, head over here to subscribe. It’s free! And don’t miss our Most Popular Crafts from every month.
