Tips and Tricks for an Easy, Crafty Holiday Season

  • You can use tracing paper to photocopy or trace your favorite photos and then transfer them to a jar for a custom votive which makes a great gift item. – Sarah Hodsdon.
  • Make a simple quick scarf for someone on your list just by braiding multiple colors of yarn scraps and then braiding those strands, creates a great look. – Mark Montano
  • Buy Dollar Store gloves and just glue or sew vintage buttons to the cuffs for a unique look and special gift. – Mark Montano
  • Keep it simple. When you are making your own cards, home decor, or gifts, just keep it simple. It is the extra love from it being handmade that matters most. – Simone Collins

Ann Butler from Creativity Stirs the Soul joined Pat first and talked about her great idea for using velcro to attach her garland to her banister for a quick decorating solution.
