What to Crochet for Thanksgiving Fun

November 3, 2010 by AllFreeCrochet

I cannot get over how quickly time is moving. It’s almost Thanksgiving then days later it will be Christmas then days after that it will be a new year….again. Do you ever wish time would just stop so you can look around and enjoy it? Oy ve! Well now is the time to do just that. Take some time for yourself, grab your crochet hooks and make some Thanksgiving patterns; it’s time for some fun.

People often forget the true meaning of Thanksgiving and what the history is. To me, it’s the time to spend with family, the time to give thanks for all the wonderful things you have in life, even the smallest things, which to me, are the best. Let’s crochet some small Thanksgiving patterns like these:

Crochet Thanksgiving Turkey Wreath– Make this wreath just in time for your company to come over. The turkey and pumpkins are the perfect touch to this wreath. Welcome all your guests in style.

Crochet Squash and Gourds– I love this pattern. Not only can it be used as a decoration for Thanksgiving, but you can also put it out for the fall season. It’s never too early or too late for squash and gourds.

Turkey Dishcloth– Say gobble gobble with this cute dishcloth. The moment you see this pattern you will rush towards your yarn and hooks to make it, you won’t be able to help yourself.

Check out AllFreeCrochet for some other fun Thanksgiving patterns.

You know if you don’t start crocheting right this second time is going to fly even faster and then you’re not going to have any time to make Thanksgiving patterns. Don’t let me keep you, go ahead have some turkey fun!
