I cleaned out some drawers last night and unearthed around 25 of my old soccer jerseys, and these are just the ones from highschool. Don’t get me started on the number of soccer socks, T-shirts and cleats (when am I EVER going to wear my screw-ins again?). I was thinking what a shame it is to get rid of all these old jerseys, which have plenty of sentimental value, when I spotted this project from Simply This That and The Other. She turned old soccer jerseys into a colorful, sporty quilt.
This would be great to bring to watch a soccer game on a chilly day. My parents would love it to watch their grandkids who are just starting on the family soccer obsession. I could also see these as a bedspread for a big soccer fan. Perhaps Simple This That and the Other would create a tutorial for loving fans of this quilt? That would be super.
