It wouldn’t be a craft conference without a swag bag, and The Sewing Summit did not disappoint! We got tons of free stuff, including sewing patterns, thread, charm squares, a tape measure, some quilting software, and the best part–a bunch of quilt batting! They even gave us a Utah visitors guide. I’m giving away most of the stuff to one lucky reader because I’m nice like that. (I’m keeping the thread and charm squares though–unfortunately I already started crafting with them and I don’t want to give out used materials!) Here’s the stash:
Want to win these goodies? All you have to do is leave a comment on this post between now and Thursday, October 13 at midnight CST telling me your favorite sewing memory. I’ll pick a winner randomly and announce who won on Friday morning!

One Christmas I spent hours sewing a three tiered dress for my daughter. It was all trimed with lace. I could only work on it while all the children were in school. It was one of the most favorite and fun sewing projects that I have ever done.
Great giveaway! Would love to win!
A favorite sewing memory is hand sewing doll clothes with my sisters. We liked to sit & sew outside on a quilt sewn by my Mom. That was more than 50 years ago. Thanks for the great giveaway.
My favorite memory was learning to sew in 4-H. It was great to have a leader who was willing to turn her kitchen into sewing central and teach me everthing I needed to know to sew my own skirt.
My favorite sewing memory was the appreciation and love I got from my son when I presented him with the flag quilt I desined and made with him in mind. He absolutely loved it and it made me feel so good I could make him so happy with something i made by hand especially for him. You can find a picture of it on craftsy.com or on my new blog…readsandbeads.wordpress.com
My favorite sewing memory is putting together a memory quilt (full of pictures) for my dad and mom’s surprise 40th anniversary party 🙂
I never win anything, but have to try. Thanks
