My Great Grandmother started teaching me how to crochet when I was 5 years old. I was completely mesmerized by watching her crochet all the time and constantly was asking to try to do it… I give her so much credit for showing me such love and being so patient with me. Tomorrow (5/23) would have been her 106th birthday and I thank her so much for not only teachings this wonderful craft but for so much more about life! I love to crochet baby blankets, throw blankets, hats, tote bags, scarves and most recently I have made a friend fingerless gloves and an infinity scarf. Thanks for reading and Happy Birthday “Goodnana”!!

I am trying to get back to crocheting. Haven’t done it in years.. gave all my yarn and needles to a young lady who was just beginning to crochet. Since I am retired now I would like to try my hand at it again. My mom taught me years ago how to crochet, she learned from her mom who was really awesome at crocheting. So winning this would get me back into it, but if not I will get into it again regardless. Thanks.
