I don’t sew very much anymore, but I did make my own wedding dress 10+ years ago and it came out a lot nicer than I thought it would. 😀
I don;t sew but I would love to win the basket of craft goodies.
It was my best sewing to me..When my oldest girl was 3mos old I thought I would make her a pair of pants (mind you I had never did one before)3 hrs of ripping and sewing and I foundly did it right. That to me was the best ever
My best ever has to be a pillow I made. It actually turned out so pretty and made me proud that I did it!
A baby quilt that was my version of The Cupcake Quilt.
Costumes for the local play. It was a period piece, lots of big flouncy skirts. Much more memorable I think because the makers got together and had fun sewing and goofing around and sewing some more!
I made my first coordinated coat and jacket when I was in eighth grade. Up until then I had made dresses and skirts. This is my favorite sewing project just because of the accomplishment it represented.
Best Project was probably a velvet blazer back in the 8th grade, looked very professional!!
A frayed denim purse with “windows” to show contrasting fabric. I love it and get tons of compliments about it. It was a great upcycle project also, I used old jeans and a old blouse.
esides sewing for my new Goddaughter, My favorite pastime sewing is making original style amish dolls. This is part of my heritage and enjoy keeping this part of my family tree alive by giving these to family members. I have even sold a few sets!
