Weddings are the most beautiful and magical events that most people will experience in their lives, and because of this, most want them to be absolutely perfect in every way. Many months and sometimes years are spent in preparation for this big day. There are many special touches that can make a wedding unique and memorable, from the style of the floral arrangements, to the wedding dress and accessories, to the colors and style of the tuxedos and dresses for the bridal party. The options are practically endless, and of course there is no one right way to make all of the countless decisions that come with planning a wedding. In the end, it all comes down to personal tastes, styles, and opinions, as well as advice from close friends and family members. Most couples spend a great deal of time and effort selecting things like musical compositions for the ceremony, seating arrangements for the reception, food and drink items for dinner, and especially which people to invite! It takes even more time and research to decide what types flowers to use and where, depending always on what would look good with the style of the bride’s dress and the color scheme that has been chosen. Another major consideration in all of this planning is, of course, the ever present budget.
However, in almost every case, one of the most thrilling parts of the wedding for the guests are the party favors or wedding bomboniere. There are so many styles and bomboniere ideas and themes to choose from, that there is literally no limit to what these items could be or how they could be presented. A couple that is having a Scottish themed wedding might chose to use black watch plaid to sew little satchels, fill the satchels with gold foil wrapped chocolate coins, then tie them shut with a fun and festive gold ribbon.
Another popular idea is to use miniature champagne glasses, fill them with a candy or other small item, cover them in tulle, and tie a colorful ribbon around the stem of each glass. Still others fill hollow white chocolate swans with chocolate Kisses, or have truffles created with the name of a guest embossed on the side of each one. Any one of these ideas can help dazzle guests, while at the same time providing a classic and elegant display for each place setting at the reception table. There are simply so many different ideas that it can sometimes be extremely difficult to decide on just one!
While sometimes it seems that one must spend a great deal of money to have the very best bomboniere, even those couples who are working with tight budgets can think creatively and produce some fantastic, but still thrifty, gift ideas for the wedding guests. Often, custom creations are even more meaningful to wedding guests than those that are mass purchased. One thing is for sure: no matter what type of bomboniere is eventually chosen, the guests always seem to truly enjoy that particular part of the special day.
