I purchased this gift kit at a local bookstore.
I’ve spotted several Mandala gift sets at upscale boutiques and bookstores. The colorful art of detailed designs is both fun and soothing. It’s a little like coloring by number as the gift kits include colored pencils and Mandala designs. I purchased two recently. One as a gift to a cousin recovering from surgery and one for myself. The little book that comes with the set gives the history and meaning of Mandala. The circular designs have spiritual meaning and are said to encompass a piece of the universe.
I found them vibrant and full of peaceful energy. Finding a quiet spot to just relax and be playful with colored pencils. You can forget about the busy, busy world for a few minutes or lose yourself in a few hours of imagination. Much of our creativity is inspired by global influences. We add to our color palette, learn more about texture, and broaden our scope when we include a variety of cultural inspirations in our creativity. Take a look at the art of Mandala, you’ll be moved by its powerful color and intricate design.
