Welcome to the fourth issue of the FaveCrafts Craft Rooms Exposed series! As promised in our monthly craft question post, we will be featuring one craft room every Monday. Get inside tips from some of our favorite bloggers and designers and find out how they turn their craft rooms into lean, mean crafting machines! And now without further adieu, let’s explore our first featured craft room.
Featured Room Designer: Roseanna Beck, a featured designer from FaveCrafts
Organizational Tip: No matter how much space you have, the key is to get some stackable containers and organize your crafting items. You can also label them so you will know exactly where everything is when you need something.
Roseanna says, “My husband and I recently moved into a new home that has a loft. The room you see in the photo is a storage room in the Loft. In the room we have several shelves for all our personal things. But as you can see I have one section of the room just for my designs and yarn. The designs are on a large 5 tier shelving unit. I have recently sold several designs so now one shelf I have put some of my smaller plastic containers that has yarn I use mostly for baby and light colored designs. I also have 5 large containers for — Christmas yarn and accessories for designing Christmas items, darker colored yarns, all other yarns, silk flowers and one for miscellaneous items. In the 3 drawer cabinet are all items I use for designing my plastic canvas items. The 2 smallest containers have ribbons, lace, needles and all small items needed for my crocheting and plastic canvas designing.”
