We had a great time at CHA 2015! The showroom floor was buzzing with plenty of great new products and trends. Here are a few of the trends that we think will be taking the craft world by storm in 2015.
We saw this craft at several booths this year! String art is super popular for home decor and we just love this trendy look. You can try your hand at string art wall decor with our Vibrant String Art tutorial. Be sure to check out Cosmo Cricket and see their kits as well.
We can’t WAIT to get our hands on these. I love that embroidery is back in style and now we can all make adorable little pendants to show off our vintage/modern crafty side.

These crafty blooms are more popular than ever it seems! Almost every paper booth had paper flowers of some sort and we loved being neighbors with Little B! Be sure to check our AllFreePaperCrafts so you can get started making your very own paper flowers this year.

Everyone appreciates a little organization, but who says it has to be boring? Crafty planners were hot this year at CHA and the possibilities are endless!
On one hand we have earthy, rustic, and vintage themes across many booths. But on the other hand we saw many modern, edgy, and geometric designs too. We appreciate the variety and we are looking forward to crafts on both ends of the spectrum

While they never went away, it’s now great to see coordinating gallery wall ideas that YOU can actually create. Now you can create the gallery wall of your dreams by CRAFTING it yourself. Pretty amazing if you ask me!
Neon is OUT (for the most part), welcoming earth tones have taken their place. Calming taupes, greys and blues were popular on the showroom floor this year.
I think we can all use a little pick-me-up these days and canvas art is the best way to go. Find that perfect quote and create a masterpiece this year!
We had fun making pom poms at the Clover USA booth! We saw garlands, scarves, and even heart shaped pom poms. We even had a blogger do a pom pom make-and-take at our booth this year. It was a hit! Look for pom poms all over the crafting world in 2015.
Cowls,Cardigans, and Ponchos!
The Lion Brand Fashion show is always a big hit and we can learn a lot about where the future of crochet and knit patterns is headed. You can learn more over at StitchandUnwind.com about what we learned. We saw a lot of cute cowls, cozy cardigans, and perfect ponchos!
Metallics, especially gold!
I think we will all be getting a taste of gold this year in the crafting world and we’re perfectly okay with it. You can go all-out gold or just have a golden accent here or there. We love that both of these options work depending on the crafter.
