Hey sewers, looking to try something new? Take the Stash Busters Challenge! It’s a fun and easy way to use up your fabric stash and make new projects.
Here’s how it works. Today and for the next two Mondays, you will find new Stash Busters projects in the AllFreeSewing newsletter. Then, get creative with what you already have at home. You probably have fabric scraps lying around that could be used to make some of these projects. The idea is to make new sewing creations using only the material you have in your stash. Don’t buy anything new – think of this as the ultimate thrifty experiment!
Once you’ve created something, share it with the rest of the AllFreeSewing community. Post a photo of your project on the Facebook page and you could be chosen to be featured in the next Stash Busters newsletter!
Check out today’s newsletter for some project ideas. The first theme is “Projects Using Scraps”. (You can subscribe to AFS newsletters here.)
Here are a few of the projects featured today. Now get out there and start using up that stash!
