Last night I went to one of my favorite stores, Forever 21. While I was walking around there were so many scarves, hats and mittens and I just kept thinking to myself, I can make any and all of these. So I did! I went home and experimented with some yarn that I already had. Just over an hour I came up with this Multicolored 70 Minute Scarf, a free crochet scarf pattern just for you. I really like the outcome because not only is it pretty, but the yarn I used is super bulky making it soft and plushy. I really enjoy big warm things during the winter because I am cold all the time.
I’ve decided that because this scarf is such a quick project I wanted to host a challenge. I want all of you to make this scarf using any colors you wish and then post your pictures on our Facebook wall! You can make this scarf for yourself or make it for a holiday gift. Once all the pictures are posted by noon on November 16, each of you can go in and vote on your favorite scarf. All you need to do is leave a comment saying “I vote for this one” and tell us why. Keep in mind, you CANNOT vote on your own scarf. I will then go through each picture on November 17 to see which one has the most votes. The winner will receive a fabulous crochet book, courtesy of Pottage Publishing!
Good luck and have fun with it!
