I used a picture fram with corkboard for the door and 1×3″ pine boards to build a matching box. I backed it with pegboard and mounted it on the wall. I now wish I had used a longer frame as I don’t have enough pegs of my mecklaces. More pegs below the top row would be better.
I need to make the DIY wall necklace organizer! I feel like I’m constantly untangling clasps and chains. At first I thought this project seemed pretty labor intensive–but the screw in hooks look really easy to use. I also think you could substitute the top dowel rod with the right hollow base clothes hanger and store it in the closet if you don’t have enough wall space. Still, I love the way this spruces up your jewelry on the wall. Either way, looks like a great way to avoid a tangled jewelry ball!

I guess it should be expected when you begin making your own jewelry. Those of you thinking of making your own jewelry might want to thing about where you are going to put all of those wonderful creations.
