In case you missed all of last month’s issues of Piecing It Together, we’ve put together a list of the 11 most popular patterns from January 2012. Spoiler alert: there are tons of awesome Valentine’s Day quilt projects! But we also have a smattering of other quilt projects as well, including wall hangings and patchwork bed quilts. Here’s a sneak peek at some of our favorite quilt patterns from the list:
Some of my personal favorites are the symbolic Love Knot Anniversary Table Runner, which can be used for weddings, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day celebrations. I also really like the One Color Scrappy Baby Quilt, because you can use up all the scraps in your stash but still make something that will match with your decor. It has the most adorable shabby chic look! Don’t forget to check out the Crazy in Love Wedding Quilt as well. It was the second most popular quilt pattern last month, and the crazy quilted patchwork hearts on the quilt top are to die for! If you’re more of a traditional quilter, you’ll love the Cathedral Stars patchwork quilt, which is a beautiful alternative to complicated cathedral quilts. You’ll also enjoy the Catch a Spinning Star Bed Quilt, an inventive variation on a simple star quilt.
