Jump right in and cut up that dress! Start with the skirt portion and cut long, narrow strips up toward the waist. Next, cut off any portions of the dress that might be useful.

Wrap the wreath with the narrow strips of fabric until its all covered. Pin the edges down as you go. Note: you can leave the edges raw or use pinking shears.

Next, add more layers of fabric. Loosely ruche the fabric so the wreath has movement and texture, and pin it around the front face of the wreath.

Repeat this layering and ruching process until the wreath looks full with texture.

Glue on any embellishments to give that finishing touch to your holiday wreath.
