Wedding Glass with Pearls

By: Etchworld

This is a great DIY craft for that special day. A wedding glass is perfected with the touch of pearls. This craft from Etchworld Armour makes for a great wedding gift or shower gift. In seven easy steps you can have a beautiful glass to toast with.

  • #20-0477 Rub N Etch stencil sheet *
  • #15-0150 Armour Etch Cream
  • 4mm Flat backed pearls
  • Wine glass
  • Glass Glue
  • Paper towels
  • Masking tape
  • Scissors
  • Toothpick,
  • Disposable small plastic plate or I like using flat blister packaging plastic (for placing a dab of glue on) & running water

  1. Wash & dry wine glass prior to applying stencil.
  2. Cut a row of spirals from the stencil sheet
  3. Wrap the stencil around top of wine glass and hold in place with a piece of tape.
  4. Rub down stencil with included stick from package, remove carrier sheet and mask off with tape, above and below stencil as directed on package.
  5. Etch with the Etch cream, following the directions on the package or CLICK HERE
  6. Rinse off cream and dry glass.
  7. To apply the flat back pearls: dab a dot of glue slightly smaller than the size of the pearl on each etched dot in the design. (The glue dries quickly, so only do a few at a time) Place pearl on glue dot and press down just until you see a rim of glue showing around edge of pearl. Let dry thoroughly. For best results hand wash glass only (dishwasher may strip off pearls)

*Stencil sheet comes with 4, 7 1/4” strips to a sheet-enough to do 4 average size wine glasses. If your glasses are larger than 7 ¾” around the top, you may have to cut part of a strip to fill in the gap, so measure your glasses ahead of time so you can order extra sheets if you need to.
