Take your shoes to the next level with this DIY Studded Loafers tutorial. This DIY shoe design lets you become the designer. Using glue and gold spikes, you can take a pair of plain loafers and turn them into edgy footwear. Add as many or as few as you want, in a matter of minutes you'll have a fabulous pair of studded shoes. Whether it's upgrading a pair of old shoes or decking out a pair of new ones, this is one way to ensure you have a pair of the hottest fashion footwear around.

DIY Studded Loafers

Materials:

  • Aleene's® Jewelry and metal glue acrylic adhesive tabs
  • Loafers
  • Gold spikes

Instructions:

  1. Make sure to clean and dry the surface of the shoe you will be decorating.
     
  2. Peel an adhesive tab from the backer sheet and place onto base of spike.
     
  3. Peel the remaining protective film from the tab and press onto the shoe in desired location.
     
  4. Press down firmly to bond. Repeat.
