Quick Hostess Gift

Materials:

Plaid Supplies-

  • 2862 - FolkArt ® Texture Paint - Sparkle, 4 oz.
  • CS11201 - Mod Podge ® Gloss, 8 oz.

Other Supplies-

  • Glass jar candle with a lid
  • Decorative paper
  • Scissors
  • Foam paint brush
  • Circle paper punch
  • Bottlebrush tree
  • Velvet flowers
  • Glittered leaves
  • Rhinestones
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Trim the paper so it fits around the candle (you may need to piece the paper together). Mod Podge the paper around the outside of the candle.
     
  2. Using a circle punch, punch a circle from the paper. Mod Podge the circle to the top of the lid. Top coat with a layer of Mod Podge.
     
  3. Add Texture paint to the bottlebrush tree. Allow to dry.
     
  4. Hot glue the tree, flowers, leaves and rhinestones to the top of the lid.
     
  5. Tie a ribbon around the jar.
