DIY Christmas Gift Tags

(1 Votes)

  1. Instead of buying gift tags, cut out squares or other shapes from old greeting or Christmas cards.
  2. Buy a pack of marking tags (you can get an Avery pack of 100 for around 3 dollars) and stamp with holiday shapes. Write the recipient’s name on the other side.
  3. Cover larger shipping tags with a piece of fabric. Use holiday fabric if you like. For a concealed name, secure the fabric only at one end and write the recipient’s name under the fabric on the tag.
  4. Cut out holiday shapes from red or green cardstock squares. Better yet, use paint color cards like A Spoonful of Sugar. Brilliant!

  5. A Little Hut has this clever idea for creating gift tags/decoration from yarn and craft sticks.

  6. Many blogs offer free downloads for printable gift tags. A Print a Day offers the beautiful tags below. Bella Dia again comes through with this extensive round-up of free gift tags. You can use sturdier card stock for printing if you like.

Hi, The Christmas gift tag is a good craft idea, I like it. Plenty of DIY tags which impressed me. One of them is at httpwww.kid-craft-project.comwp-adminpost.php?action=editpost=374

I like the ideasbut, I like the one that uses the greeting cards does not cost anything. I have used cards in the past and I thinkm I will go back to using them
