Christmas Star Dog Cookies

Christmas Star Dog Cookies
Christmas Star Dog Cookies

"Our fur babies need a Merry Christmas too! The great news is that they are so easy to please. These healthy star shaped dog cookies will get tails wagging in no time. And best they are easy and yield over 100 freezable cookies. Make Christmas last! I like to make these when I have a few vegetables in the fridge that are slightly past their best - it means that nothing goes to waste. This tasty recipe uses basic store cupboard ingredients with tips on how to substitute if you need to. Happy Christmas cooking!"

Materials List

  • Carrots
  • Spinach
  • Grated Cheese
  • oil
  • Flour (Spelt is used but there is advice on substitution)
  • eggs

NotesThis recipe makes a lot of biscuits. they freeze well and my two girls love one before bed as a treat. They are not designed to be a balanced dog meal alone though. Given as a treat, it is something for your dog to look forward to. Remember to use a smaller cookie cutter for little people!
