Holiday Paper Crafts

 Get festive with these Holiday Paper Crafts. Making them will get you in the mood to celebrate, and giving the homemade holiday greeting cards will spread the cheer.



Materials (Cards):

  • Ka-Jinker attachment tool and green Ka-Jinker Links
  • Ka-Jinker Jems - 15 small round lime green, 1 small round brown, and 3 white stars for Christmas Tree card; 2 small round lime green, 3 small round red, 2 large round green, and 3 large round white for Happy Holidays card
  • Cardstock and coordinating decorative Christmas papers
  • Coordinating ribbons and rub-on sayings
  • Tape or glue
  • Scissors or paper cutter

Materials (Decorative Wood Letters):

  • Ka-Jinker attachment tool and white Ka-Jinker Links
  • Ka-Jinker small round Jems in red, lime green, and green (12 each)
  • J, O, and Y stand-up wood letters - 5" high
  • Decorative Christmas papers and scraps of card stock


Instructions (Christmas Tree Card):

  1. Cut coordinating decorative pattern and contrasting card stock for front of card. Adhere.
  2. Using pattern as a placement guide, Ka-Jink a star at the top of the tree and a small brown round at the base of the tree.
  3. Add rub-ons to small pieces of card stock and position and adhere sayings to side of tree.
  4. Cut a small length of ribbon and overlap to form a bow. Ka-Jink a star at the center to attach it to the card. Ka-Jink another star Jem to the card.
  5. Make card from card stock and adhere decorated front of card.


Instructions (Happy Holidays Card):

  1. Cut coordinating decorative papers for front of card. Overlap papers, leaving a border at the bottom.
  2. Glue a length of ribbon to the bottom border and glue a coordinating ribbon at the point where the papers join.
  3. Ka-Jink a row of Jems above the ribbons, placing small red Jems onto center of large white Jems and small lime green Jems onto the center of the large green Jems.
  4. Make card from card stock and adhere to decorated front of card.


Instructions (Decorative Wood Letters):

  1. Trace letters onto back of coordinating decorative papers. Remember to reverse letters so front of papers will show on the front of the letters. Cut strips of paper that will fit around edges of letters.
  2. Use spray adhesive to adhere papers to letters. When dry, sand edges lightly to distress.
  3. Using photo as guide, Ka-Jink each Jem to a small square of card stock.
  4. Adhere squares to each letter.
  5. Tie a ribbon bow onto the top of the J and bottom of the Y.
