This is such a sweet gift. I envision all sorts of gifts from this one style. A bridal shower gift using some dish cloths, pot holder, measuring spoons, black recipe cards, gift certificate to a class at the local cooking school, etc. Its also be really neat for your friend who likes to garden on her birthday or to say Happy Spring. You could fill it with flora seed packs, tiny gardening tools, gardening gloves, starter pots, and so one. Can you see other uses? Tell us about some, please. I always like seeing how others use these things.
