Twinkling Lights Wine Bottle Craft

Wine Bottle Craft Instructions

  1. After you have cleaned and removed the label from your wine bottle, you will want to drill a hole in the b ase of your bottle.
The best way to do this is to cover the area you want to drill with masking tape and markw here youw ant the hole to be. Then, submerge your bottle and secure it in a basin with a wet towel. Proceed with the drilling.

  2. Once your bottle is ready, thread the lights through the hole in the bottom of the bottle, being sure to get them all in the bottle.

  3. Using your hot glue gun, glue your floral beads, gemstones, or embellishments onto the bottle in a decorative pattern.

Absolutely love the idea of adding the glass beads and embellishments on the outside. You can get away with not drilling a hole by feeding the lights into the top but also if you rather not have the lights go in that way, consider drilling the hole in the side of the bottle rather than the bottom because the light string cord will make it difficult for the bottle to stand on the level. Pretty project!

What a cute and fun craft to make! I think the wine bottle is fine on its own without the lights, but it does have such a pretty glow when using the string of lights.
