After seeing this craft, I am convinced that I'm in the right place and my creative juices are flowing. I would love to make my own vintage version of this project. I've never had a globe before so this will fit in my vintage decor collection perfectly. Thanks for all the tips. First the bronze spray paint is what I'll take away from this tutorial but I will need a globe.

I would love to have this project but at this time, I do not have a globe to use. Had not thought about looking for one in my local thrift stores until I read the post by Weberme. I am wondering if the local school would have some that they are itching to get rid of. Hmmm.

My husband calls me a pack rat and for the most part I can agree to that. I just happen to have a globe that I can recycle to make this beautiful display. I know just the verbiage I want to include on my globe. Thanks for the idea!

I will be searching the thrieft stores or yard sales for a globe to make this very cute Anthropologie globe. I absolutely love this idea. It would dress up any room and I love that you can do so much to make it your masterpiece. Very easy to do and I love that you can decoupage it and put saying, just a saying or quote or just picture. So simple to do and great tutorial. This would make a great Father's Day gift too.

God thing I haven't thrown out out old globe at home. Making use of your old stuff at home is just great!

What an exciting way to create an original knockoff (can it be original and a knockoff lol) in fabrics or papers that meet your style needs and tastes -- now why did I not buy one of those globes at the SA thrift store last month -- knew it would be a mistake not to

This is a brilliant knockoff of the Anthropologie original and no one else will have anything like it. I've seen old globes at thrift stores that are practically begging for this makeover!
