When it's gray outside, it's time to brighten up the inside of your home. Add some life back to your living room or kitchen with some houseplants and these Bright DIY Hanging Planters. All plants look amazing from ahsnging planter when they overgrow out of the pot and start dangling out it even more magical. It brightens up your room immediately and helps clean the room air. You can get these wire baskets from any dollar store so this project is pretty adorable. The best plants I've seen hanging from these baskets are succulents and those plants that creep.

I am ready for spring and the beautiful flowers and green. This hanging planters is a great idea to help to get me through and I did not think to use these baskets to make some. This is a great way to show off some greenery. I love the tiers too. I like the idea of paintng the baskets. Great tutorial with pictures of the steps. I am going to give some as housewarming gift. Thanks.

I have to say, what a genius idea for a DIY project. Here we are shown step by step how to construct a two-tiered plant hanger. I am loving the turquoise spray painted baskets. The use of the nylon/cotton rope to attach the tiers together kind of just blends into the background...until you are surprised by the little beads at the bottom!
