By: Michele Kovack from Thoughts of a Cardmaking Scrapbooker

Get creative with paper crafts by making this Stained Glass Card. You can create a stained glass window effect by stamping on an acetate sheet. This beautiful handmade card is a wonderful way to show someone you care.

Stained Glass Card

Materials:

  • Card stock - white and green
  • Crafty Secret's Floral Vines stamp set
  • Papertrey Ink impression's template
  • Black ink - Memento and StazOn
  • Sheet of acetate

  3. Use Spellbinder's dies to create a window. I used artist's tape to line it up and hold it in place.

  5. Spread a thin layer of glue on the back of your "window." Adhere the acetate sheet to the back. Trim off excess acetate.

  7. Attach window/acetate to white card stock. This is what it looks like from the side.

  8. Your window is complete! Now all you have to do is color it in, add your own message and embellishments!
