EEK Sign

Watch out!  This EEK Sign from Amanda Formaro is sure to keep you on your toes!  With lots of little eyes peeking out of all the bends and corners of this sign, this cute Halloween decor is fun and easy to make.  Forget the wreath!  This cute sign is all you need on your door this Halloween!

Materials:

• Wood letter (E, E, K)
• 4 feet of wide orange ribbon
• Hot glue gun
• Outdoor Mod Podge or other outdoor sealer
• Paint: yellow, neon green, orange, black

Instructions:

1. Paint wood letter black and let dry.
   
   
    
2. Use the handle end of a paintbrush to add pairs of ovals and circles in orange, green, and yellow all over the letters.
   
   
   
   
    
3. When those have dried, use the handle end of a paintbrush to dot on the blacks of the eyes. You can use the paintbrush to add eyebrows as well.
   
   
   
   
   
   
    
4. When everything is dry, give them a coat of sealer.
   
   
    
5. Fold the ribbon in half and begin hot gluing it together, starting about 6-inches down from the fold. Leave room at the bottom as well to tie into a bow.
   
   
   
   
    
6. Position letters onto the ribbon then hot glue them on. Tie remaining ribbon into a bow and hang!
