Decorative Faux Raw Cotton Branches

"Some of the best and easiest crafts in the world are free or practically free. One day I was cleaning my coffee table and decided it was time to finally put something in the small vases I made last year. So I grabbed my hot glue gun, some sticks and leaves out of my yard and a dollar bag of cotton balls from my bathroom. In about 15 minutes I created faux "raw" cotton vase filler that made a huge impact."

If you have ever seen real cotton branches you will have to admit the final product made with this technique is really convincing. If these raw cotton branches fit into your dcor, this is the perfect project for you.

I never thought that someone would want to bring a raw cotton branch inside as decor. I am lucky enough to be able to go out into neighboring fields and collect the real thing. Looking at the finished project here, it is a really good replication. Good job!

This is a must do today project! I love doing any kind of wood project, even limbs. I love look of the cotton braches, so look out branches, here I come!

Who would have thought cotton balls would make such a pretty little accent for a vase! At first glance I did think they were real, and because it is so unexpected, I think this would make a real impact in decor, as well as being quite the conversational piece! And fun, easy and quick to make!
