If anyone has a parrot, they know how expensive toys are. I take all thick plastic lids (milk, soda etc) clean well. Drill a hole through the center of the cap. String caps with a decent rope. Knot every few caps. You can also mix it up with thick cardboard. Just about anything. You have a bird toy ready to be shredded. All it cost was the "rope".
