Dangle Chime Earrings

Make some noise with your one homemade earring designs. Dangle Chime Earrings from Candace Jedrowicz work with any outfit and are perfect for spring. No need to worry, though - these earrings aren't as noisy as traditional garden wind chimes!

Dangle Chime Earrings

  • Electrical wire or 14 gauge or larger copper wire
  • 20 gauge wire
  • Beads
  • Round nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • Chain nose pliers

  1. Cut 6 lengths of electrical wire – 2 each of graduating lengths. For instance (2) 1-1/2″, (2) 1 3/4″ and (2) 2″ pieces.

  2. Hammer all the pieces, flattening both ends of each piece.
  3. Use round nose pliers to roll one end back into a loop.

  4. Cut a 3″ piece of 20 gauge wire. Grasp it in the middle with chain nose pliers. Bend both ends up, crossing them at the top.

  10. Slide a bead over both ends of the wire and right up under the loop. Bend both ends slightly forward and slide them through the loops at the top of the heart.

  11. Cross the ends to the opposite sides.

    Dangle Chime Earrings
  12. Roll the ends downward to make 2 more loops. Hammer the loops to flatten slightly.
