I just LOVE this idea! I think I might use this for a ladies night! I have some beautiful new and vintage buttons in my stash that are hiding in tins and bins and I have always wanted to use them but didn't have the clothing project that would work with the buttons! This is ideal for showing them off, yet having them at the ready if needed. I could see covering the ball with flat ribbon as an alternative to the yarn! Great project!
