Recycled Denim Wine Bottle Sleeve

Upcycled Jean Craft Instructions

  1. Cut off the legs of your jeans, but save the scraps to save later.

  2. Using the top half of your jeans, cut a 15"X12" square. To do that, cut up the leg and through the crotch area. Then, cut around the zipper. You won't use the zipper on the design.

Be sure to include a front pocket and a back pocket, so you can use later to add a cork and screw or wine bottle opener.

  3. Iron on any embroidery or decals that you would like to include in your design.

  4. Serge or zig  zag the edges, and then sew the bottom and the side seams.

  5. Put in your bottle and add a ribbon for some extra decoration.

I am loving these ideas on using old jeans for sewing some great things and this denim wine bottle jeans is one of them. Do you know someone who loves wearing jeans and likes their wine then this is a great gift idea for them and I love that you can add things to the pockets it gives it that added touch. Why not make some and bring them and some wine to a dinner party or barbecue. Your guest will be asking you where you got it from. If your not into the jean one why not try any pants with a pocket and belt loop. Nice video and a tutorial if you like that instead. Thanks.
