Aleene's Decoupage Clipboard Art Frame

Turn a simple office supply into a piece of mixed media art. Learn how to make Aleene's Decoupage Clipboard Art Frame from Tiffany Windsor and display it on a mantel, desk or wall. Use scrapbook papers to create a completely unique look and add a ribbon for a cool touch.

Remove the clip from the clipboard and decoupage the surface. Use a variety of scrapbook papers with distint designs - this is the best way to get rid of scraps. Once the surface is dry, cut a piece of mat board and adhere it to the clipboard. Add ribbon to the piece by gluing it to the mat board. Make sure to leave some excess at the end so you can tie a bow. Add any embellishments to the piece and add the clip back onto the board.
