Really loving how colorful this garland is and so impressed at how easy it is to make. All it takes to make this is wooden beads and a needle and thread. It can be made as long or as short as you like and with any color or shape of bead. I am coming up with all kinds of ideas for other uses for this garland too.

Well, that's simple enough, but a cute idea. It's too late for me for this year, but I can start looking for beads for next year. What about using them from old costume jewelry? If I keep looking all year long, I should have enough to make an interesting garland next year.

I am going to look for beads at the dollar stores and thrift stores. This will take a lot of beads to make a garland. I think I will use mine on my mantle instead of on my tree. I do have a lot of plastic pony beads already so I might start with those. The colors would look cute by some tiny white Christmas trees.

always have a stash of leftover beads altho' not wooden ones, and the little people would have a wonderful time stringing them into a garland -- not as messy as cranberries lol

This is yet another " why didn't I think of this ?" Ideas. It's so easy and simple. I found a huge bag of wood beads at a thrift shop. I was so excited at the amount (250) for $1.00 that I didn't really check out the colors closely. They are hot pink, purple, yellow, red, green, white and shades of brown. I didn't know what I would do with the really bright ones. Now I do. These will look great as a Garland. Thanks for sharing.
