Vintage Butterfly Wall Art

"Whenever I wander flea markets, I often see Victorian Butterfly specimen art. These trays of butterflies are beautiful, and it's incredible how long they have survived. But I can't bring myself to hang dead butterflies on my wall. That's when I decided to make my faux butterfly version. I used original vintage butterfly illustrations from old natural history books and shrink plastic to create my creatures. I then framed them in an upcycled frame with a vintage map backing and old-style name tags for some stunning butterfly wall art."
